The aim was to use a dog of excellent working ability, but at the same time carried the stamp of a good solidly built Labrador dog, as Ash is quite a light framed bitch. Looking at the pups we have kept back, it seems we may have succeeded in producing slightly heavier built dogs.Ash produced a litter of eight pups, again, we have kept a dog and a bitch back. All the other pups from this litter have gone to working/trialling homes, including one in the Netherlands. Hopefully if the pups all progress in their training then we may see the first Lowforge dogs competing in Working Tests and Field Trials in the not too distant future. That produced eight pups, we still have two of them, as you can see. Five of the remaining six went to working homes, we are in regular contact with their owners, and all the dogs are doing well in their new homes.
