| Our First Litter, Three Years On |
|
We thought it would be interesting to take a look at how four of Flynn and Ellies litter are progressing. Two of them, Jud and Charlie, are still with us. Whilst the other two featured here, Nenagh, and Casper, are both with friends of ours. Jud, Lowforge Hurricane, has been out on the peg, as well as the Grouse moor, and is proving to be a useful all-rounder.
Charlie, Lowforge Aurora, did well in Working Tests during the summer, so it is our intention to trial her this season. Therefore, we have been a little bit more selective about what she does and does n’t do when out on shoots. Hopefully, we may have something positive to report later in the year. Nenagh, Lowforge Neola spends most of her time out and about in the great outdoors, her owner Nick Walker, is heavily involved in all aspects of shooting, http://www.thefieldsportscompany.co.uk/index.html. Whilst Nenagh looks very comfy in the back of the car between drives, she really does look the part in the field. Casper, Lowforge Moab, is with Natasha Bujnoch, at Contender Gundogs. Casper, like Nenagh, spends much of his time outdoors in rural Suffolk, as Natasha , amongst other things, is a Gundog trainer and assessor, Game Farmer, and Shoot Organiser, that also finds time to do 70 + days Picking Up during the season.
I know as the breeders, we are biased, but we think they are all beautiful looking dogs, and are so pleased that they are doing what they were bred for, and doing it well. It is particularly gratifying, having lost Flynn late last year, to see his progeny out there doing what he so loved to do himself, we are sure he would have approved. |
