Charlie, Lowforge Aurora, was a last minute substitute for Isla, in the URC North Midlands Intermediate WT. Despite having done nothing since the end of the shooting season, Charlie gained third place. We were really pleased with her.

Perhaps the biggest success of the summer was Flash, Churchview Toby of Lowforge, winning the Kennel Club AV Spaniel Open WT at Chatsworth. This was the first time a cocker had won this event.

Flash has already enjoyed some success in Trials this season, finishing second in the Yorkshire Sporting Spaniel Novice Cocker at Blanchands, and a COM at The Cocker Club Novice at Raehills. |
